I have enjoyed 35 years as a counselor, supervisor, and family therapy trainer. I am currently licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire. I completed my undergraduate degree (BA) in Psychology at Defiance College in Defiance, OH in 1974. I earned my graduate degree (MA) in Art Therapy/Family Therapy at Lindenwood College in St. Charles, MO in 1983. In 1989, I completed two years of postgraduate training in family therapy and family therapy supervision at University of Illinois (Family Systems Program) in Chicago, IL. I served as a clinician and supervisor in a variety of clinical settings, including residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment, psychiatric hospital, home-based alternative to psychiatric hospitalization program, home-based family counseling services, and private practice. I have presented family therapy workshops and trainings at various professional conferences and agency settings over the past 25 years.
